• All your Calculator Studio Projects (including embeds) will go offline after August 31st 2026.

• Subscriptions will renew as normal until then; outstanding value after August 31st 2026 will be refunded.

Why we made the decision

After years of building and evolving Calculator Studio, we've made the difficult decision to wind it down. Over the last few years we've experienced an unsustainable drop in demand for our calculator tool as AI has changed the way people build web-calculators. The GRID team is now fully focused on developing our core technology: the GRID spreadsheet engine. As such, we're no longer able to give Calculator Studio the focus it deserves. We know this is disruptive news and are deeply sorry for the inconvenience it will cause.

What this means for your account and your Projects

From August 31st 2026 the Calculator Studio service and your account will no longer be accessible. All your Projects including the ones you've shared or embedded on your website will go offline. After that date, all projects and uploaded spreadsheets will be permanently deleted. In the meantime, you can export all of your spreadsheets to Excel, including the spreadsheets you have built with our own editor. You can also save a PDF version of your Projects.

Your subscription

Your subscription will continue to renew as normal until August 31st 2026. If you prefer not to be charged again and unsubscribe before the shutdown date, you can cancel at any time from your account portal (accounts with subscription management rights only). Any remaining credit after the termination date will be refunded to the card on file.

If you're subscribed to an annual plan that is due to renew before August 31st 2026 and you'd like to continue using Calculator Studio as you transition to an alternative solution, you can switch to a monthly plan to minimize upfront payment. You can also do this in the account portal or reach out to support@calculatorstudio.co and we'll take care of it for you.

Our recommended alternative

We are recommending Airrange as a great alternative for your calculator building and publishing needs. Their solution is also spreadsheet-based and has all the integrations needed for lead generation workflows.
